Our paper, The Printed Blog, launches next Tuesday. We’ve received a bunch of press so far and we are positive much more is on the way. People are talking about us and that’s the kind of thing we like to see! We want to get you involved, get your feedback and have you participate. That’s what The Printed Blog is all about!
We really appreciate all of the effort you all have put in so far to get the word out about us. We really hope you continue to do so because we really want this to succeed!
One of the ways we are saying thank you is to have a big giveaway. This one is bigger than Flickr accounts and gift cards. We’ve decided to give one of you guys an 8GB iPod Touch!
With the iPod Touch you can manage your music, email and social networks all in one place. Plus, you have access to the app store!
We’re keeping this one simple for you all.

Hi, I’m so grateful for finding this blog! I like the look of it and can’t wait to see it evolve. I’m relatively new to the “blogosphere” (I keep hearing that word and finally decided to use it here..?!), and sifting through endless blogs is a true time-waster
Printed Blog doesn’t fit that category though. I like the content, and that can’t be said about all. Word. Anyway, I’m a 28 yr-old fan, just me, myself, and I. Would like to tack on “pod” to the end of that “I”. This is a great giveaway!

My favorite color is red.
I don’t own any type of mp3 or ipod and have been dreaming about wanting one, and have been entering contest since november of 2008 trying to win one for me or my older son who also has wanted one. Since I’m unemployed and budget is tight I hope to win one someday.
My 27 year old just had his first child and so his budget is very tight also, he lives 1200 miles away and I miss him so if I win a ipod it might be a great gift for him. Thank you for giving me a chance to win a fantastic prize.

In today’s world of dying newspapers and growing news aggregators such as the Huffington Post, it’d be interesting to see if one can be used to save the other. I’m young, but I’m a traditional romantic who loves holding the print in my hands. If there is some hope for the print media, it’ll be in publications like The Printed Blog.
But money still makes the world go round, and TPB’s business model will need to sustain itself for it to survive. The good news is that in this great age of uncertainty in journalism, innovative projects can thrive if carried out well.
I really look forward to reading TPB in my hands. It’s too bad it won’t be distributed in New York. Hopefully one day it will.
