To enter you MUST comment on this post with what you would like to see in The Printed Blog or what you’re looking forward to most about The Printed Blog. What kind of blogs? What kind of photos? Are you excited about getting more recognition? Or finding new blogs to reads that you might not have found otherwise? What want to know what you think about what we are doing!
To get extra entries you can do one of the following:
1. Write a post about The Printed Blog on your blog. Be sure to include any of our links (blog, Facebook and don’t forget about Prints Charming!) Encourage your readers to submit some of their favorite blogs (including their own), photographers and bands. (We’ll be nice and give you 2 entries for doing this!)

Be sure that you include YOUR URL as well as the URL of the blog you’re submitting. Email your submissions to bloggers(at)theprintedblog(dot)com. (Remember to put “TPB Contest” in the subject line!)
3. Tweet! Just be sure to leave a link to your tweet in the comment sections of this post.
You’re either commenting here about how you entered or sending an email to bloggers(at)theprintedblog(dot)com. Please don’t send anything to my or Jamie’s personal accounts. Please don’t forget to use the subject line “TPB Contenst” or it will get looked over!
This contest will end at 11:59 p.m. on January 17th. We still have one BIG giveaway to follow so there’s still more chances for you to win!

Hi! I like seeing that you guys are incorporating bloggers’ flickr activity into The Printed Blog. Flickr is one of the greatest photo sharing sites and I’m looking forward to seeing photo blogs on here - but ones where the blogger takes time to really write an interesting caption and/or tells a story behind the photo. Showing photo blogs that take on the 365 days challenge would be great too!
I think I’ll start to find more blogs on here - maybe related to cooking or technology, or ones that give books reviews - because I don’t come across those that often.
The Prints Charming is the cutest thing I have ever heard of! I shall follow as @Katiecat & @NYCphotos (my two accounts).
Thanks!
I am looking forward to seeing new and interesting blogs and a great variety of topics, especially from humor sites!
I think you should do a section on bloggers who Etsy!
Maybe I’m just biased…
I’m looking forward to holding blogs in my hands. Very very cool.
I’m just excited to see what the finished product actually looks like and for a new way to discover new blogs! I haven’t had a chance to check out the Flickr account yet, but I’m so excited to do that! I’m just really excited to be a part of something like this, even just watching the awesomeness unfold each day! Congrats on all the press, too!
oh, and I tweeted for ya for another chance
I’m excited & interested in The Printed Blog - I’m sad I don’t live in a place where I’ll be able to find it, but I’m excited! I’d love if I got to be included and found a broader readership. If I got to read The Printed Blog I’d want to see blogs I wouldn’t normally read - news/technology stuff.
Oh, and I blogged about you guys -

…and tweeted…

OH WOW! Yeah this made me so happy! Thank you so much you guys. Theprintedblog is awesome
i’m most excited about the idea of people who aren’t necessarily computer-esque being able to read blogs easily.
it’s like a whole new untapped audience. very exciting.
I love finding cool things ,product and ideas that i never would of thought of
I’d love to see photos of chicago (or other cities). I love looking at personal pictures, but it’s even better to see a public place (well known or not) in a great photograph.
I also twittered:

I am most looking forward to meeting new bloggers! Recognition is always good too ;D
I already submitted 3 of my favorite blogs, and I will be sure to do a post on the printed blog!
My tweet? @loveshan
I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of different bloggers in print, because I know there’s a lot of interesting stuff out there, but sometimes it is hard to find. I’m also interested to see how/if a community of bloggers develops from this project.
I want to see green issues/green sites/green news! Also: awesome writing!
Definitely more giveaways for sure! Your blog rocks! Im so glad i found it.. Loved it loads..
Im following you on twitter!
I’ve blogged about your blog at my blog at:

Thanks!
[...] so. Does that not sound awesome?!? Even more awesome, they currently have a great giveaway going on here. Check them out on Twitter and Facebook, [...]
I think this is a supercool idea. I’d love to see interesting photos and discover new blogs! Sure, my feed reader is overloaded as it is, but I always love finding cool new blogs to follow.
I submitted three of my favorite blogs.
I tweeted: http://twitter.com/wordygirl.
And I posted on my blog: http://teenbookreview.wordpress.com/2009/01/16/the-printed-blog/.
I would like to be able to discover new blogs that I wouldn’t normally read. They can be on any topic- fashion, cooking, money, etc.
I heard about this from teenboookreview.wordpress.com and I was so intrigued. I thought the idea of not only holding certain blogs in my hand was cool but also, what a great opportunity to find other blogs which I am in great need of.
Here is my blog:http://angsullivan.blogspot.com/2009/01/bloggiebloggiebloggie.html
And you will receive an e-mail shortly of 3 of my favorite blogs.
I’m a geek, so I would like a cartoon strip a la xkcd. Maybe also a section with Gizmodo- or Engadget news.
Well, I just found out about this from another blog and I think it’s an amazing idea. I’d love to show more people my blogs, but learn about others of course as well.
-Lauren
I’m looking forward to seeing creative blog writing in print. I love the idea of “holding” blog material. It will be interesting to see a variety of blog-worthy stuff that I wouldn’t normally catch on my own blog searches. Great idea! Great fun. Can’t wait!
I’m looking forward to a site that is trying something different with the printed media. I love the NY Times, bur I’ve noticed that my local paper is essentially reprinting the Times wholesale and cutting the articles. It’s not really viable anymore. Also, it would be great to take blog reading with me (via paper) to places where I don’t have Wi-Fi.
Love the whole thing! As a professional writer who just recently made the jump to earning 100% of my income from writing for the internet, I can’t wait to track the progress the other way.
I followed at Twitter and Facebook and my handle is the same everywhere– melissalion.
I can’t wait to see this in action! If I ask nicely, mind mailing me a physical copy of one of the first issues?

Great site, and hoping to win!
Just the look and feel of your blog makes me want to read it. That’s definitely a good thing.
This sounds like a great idea - the tactile delight of reading a newspaper and the free-form creativity in one.
Also, I want an Ipod.
I like the idea of printing web content.
I hope the quality of screenshots can be optimized for printing of the quality that we are accustomed to reading.
Great site. It’s great to actually see some great blogs on print. Website is great and easy to navigate too… keep up the good work!
Would love an Ipod!!
Have Tweeted and followed:

Much success to you!
Interesting idea. This could really rejuvenate print papers, which are still pretty rad in their own right.
Love this idea, can’t wait to see how it works!
I’m following on twitter: @justinmccammon
I re-tweeted: http://twitter.com/justinmccammon/status/1140107214
And joined on Facebook (Justin McCammon).
That makes four entries for the ipod and one very eager person to see how TPB works!
Very fine idea Joshua. Much as pixels are great the printed page should live. This just might work…
Love this idea and can’t wait to see the first issue
I’m interested in the copyright/payment model for the writers…
Very excited to see the paper after its launched. Plus I’m a sucker for a give-a-way.
Good Luck
This sounds like a very interesting project. Bravo for starting a company in the face of all the bad economic news; I think that’s great. I’m looking forward to seeing the first issue in my neighborhood in Chicago - where can I find out where exactly it will be?
The concept you all propose is intriguing, I must admit.
I’ve just found out about you guys today and I’ll be coming back for sure.
Have been sharing The Printed Blog details with my classmates in the New Media Studies master’s program at DePaul. Can’t wait for next week and the first big issues. Where will they be available? Any chance I could grab a bunch of my class to hand out? Keep up the great work!!!
Woo hoo for you! I’m Suzanne Yada on Facebook and @suzanneyada on Twitter. I’m an intern for The Public Press in San Francisco (public-press.org) so I am naturally interested in the printed product! Hope things are going well for you and perhaps we may be interested in a partnership of some sort…? (Dunno though, I’m just an intern!
